Copy / Project Editor
To work remotely for 2 days per week (possibly more later) on a range of brilliant full-colour non-fiction children’s books. It is essential to have immaculate copy editing, proof reading (including fact checking) skills and attention to detail. A minimum of 3 years experience in illustrated children’s non-fiction at Editor level or above and ability to deal confidently with authors, illustrators, consultants and other third-party contributors. You need to be highly self-reliant in your work, willing to contribute your own ideas and be proficient in Quark, InDesign, and Acrobat as well as knowing your way around Illustrator and Photoshop.

Freelance Graphic Designers
To work on a broad range of highly creative projects for the international market, we are looking for home-based freelance graphic designers, particularly those experienced in cover design and illustrated children’s non-fiction titles.
We offer the opportunity to use your creative skills to the maximum and are keen to hear from individuals who can contribute new ideas as well as working to design briefs.
At least 4 years experience with advanced skills in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign are essential together with picture research ability.
