We are currently recruiting for the following vacancies;

Senior Editor – US imprints 

Located in Tunbridge Wells, Kent (45 minutes from Charing Cross), TickTock Books is the publisher of a dynamic and exciting range of illustrated non-fiction, pre-school and fiction titles for children and young adults worldwide.

We are looking for a creative and experienced Senior Editor with outstanding administrative and project management skills (including the supervision of freelance staff) to take responsibility for the editorial workflow of our two North American imprints, ensuring that publication and sales material schedules are met and to carry out the Americanization of all titles.

You will have a least 6 years’ previous editorial experience in children’s publishing, possess excellent copy-editing and proof-reading skills with the confidence to make your own decisions and ultimately the skills to develop new projects tailored for the North American market.  Ideally you will be a US citizen or have lived and worked in the US for an extended period.

Term Time Sales Rep

The job is:
Interesting, varied and offers the opportunity to build up an excellent self-employed business with our full support.

Areas:
Leeds. Berkshire. Derbyshire. Buckinghamshire. Liverpool. Newcastle.

You will need:
*Good organisation and communicational skills.
*An Outgoing Personality.
*Car Owner.
*Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

You will be supplied with a complete set of samples and carrying cases(free of charge), together with all the necessary company paperwork.

*Full training will be given with on hand support, & advice will be available at all times from your experienced sales manager.

*The work is full-time, 5 days a week, term time only. You will be designated your own personal area with approximately 1000 schools both state and private which you will be expected to cover within 12-14 months.

*Control of your own area and day to day routine.
*Opportuntity to earn well during term time and then relax during the school holidays.
*Payment is by daily fee, plus commission, plus bonus.
*Gross annual income should be in excess of £15K, along with extra incentives, but £25K is realistically achievable for only 190 working days.

This job ideally suits those wishing to return to the working environment with the advantage of school holidays at home.
